James Bond's Favorite Theme Songs Released

New Music from the International Man of Mystery

With James Bond's new movie due in theatres next month, fan's appetites are wet for the revealing of the film's new theme song.

James Bond is the smoothest, roughest, toughest, international secret spy/notorious ladies man the cinemas have ever seen. Every man needs a theme song, right?

The soundtrack for James Bond movies has become just as important as the movie itself. For the newest installment in the spyman’s franchise, Quantum of Solace, everyone from Alicia Keys to Amy Winehouse was battling over who would get the coveted spot as the singer of the theme song. Well, Alicia Keys won (she’ll be singing a duo with Jack White of The White Stripes) but she isn’t alone as the studio has just released a compilation CD of the best James Bond songs ever.

Featuring hits by Madonna, Shirley Bassey, Tina Turner, Sheryl Crow, Chris Cornell, and Garbage, this CD is a staple for anyone’s Bond collection. The package will also include a DVD with five music videos, live concert footage, and a previously unreleased version of a Bond theme by composer John Arnold.

The compilation is set to be released in connection with the brand’s 46th anniversary. Meanwhile, the new film will offer it’s own original soundtrack featuring the aforementioned Alicia Keys/Jack White duet, Another Way To Die.
